Who We Are

A Vibrant Cooperative Society with Financially Empowered Members.

Silvervibe Fraternity Multi-Purpose Co-operative Society Ltd was registered with the Registrar of Cooperatives on September 19, 2024, under registration number P.24903/RCS.

It is governed under the Co-operative Act, cap 107 and bylaws as applicable to cooperative societies. The main object is to promote the mutual economic interests of its members in accordance with cooperative principles.

As a cooperative, the avenues for investment include agricultural marketing, mining, housing, fishing, handcraft, livestock/dairy, transport, consumer goods, and poultry among others.

More than 20 years’ experience in Auditing and currently working with the Office of the Auditor General as Director. A Rotarian (Major Donor) who has served in various positions, Chairman for several social groups and serves in Church in various responsibilities.

Vice Chairman and Chair Savings Committee

Master’s Degree in Project Management; a Master’s Degree in Public

Health (MPH) and Bachelors’ degree in Medicine and Surgery. Skilled in: MSOffice packages, SPSS, STATA, and SQL /Access databases.

A Public Health Specialist with over 25 years of work experience in HIV/AIDS, TB, reproductive health, malaria, Health and Community Systems Strengthening.

Currently, Director Planning and Strategic Information at Uganda AIDS Commission, has served on several Boards (Country Coordinating Mechanism for Uganda, Global Fund Grants, Foundation Body of Mbaaga Tuzinde Primary School, Rotary Club of Kiwatule and others). Represents the regulatory stakeholders on the advisory council for Baylor Uganda.

Previously worked in several senior management positions that include: Quality Assurance Manager/Deputy Coordinator Global Fund, Technical Advisor HIV/AIDS, US-DoD; M&E Manager-Baylor Uganda; and Program Officer HIV, TB and Malaria Projects in Uganda Prisons.

Holds a PHD (Financial Management) Master of Management, and Post Graduate Diploma in project planning and management of Uganda Management Institute, Kampala. Also holds a Bachelors in Adult and Community Education of Makerere University.

Currently, I am the Director of Professional Development at the Uganda Institute of Banking and Financial Services (UIBFS). Worked with dfcu bank for 9 years, in various positions including Head Pinnacle Banking, Head Transactional Banking and Head of sales. Also worked with the Housing Finance Bank for five 5 years in the capacity of Ag. Head Corporate Banking and Senior Relationship Manager.

Secretary of the Uganda Leasing Association, Director TAMKA investments Ltd, Director Mt. Seeta Junior School and board member of Jubilee Life Insurance Uganda.

She is a Rotarian.

Holds a BCOM, MBA and a PHD, all from Makerere University. Has ACCA (UK) and CPA (UG)

Based at MUBS, where he teaches accounting. Currently the President of the African Accounting and Finance Association. Also a board Member of the following entities – EPRC, ABC Capital Bank, Trans Africa Assurance and Ripple Effect (formerly Send a Cow).

A renowned consultant in accounting, finance, and governance and also an immediate past president of the Rotary Club of Nakawa.

Treasurer

Holder of MA (Economic Policy and Planning) FCCA, member of ICPAU,

BComm (Accounting). Also trained in financial markets management and regulation, risk and treasury management, and in business leadership and development.

Current Head of Finance at Housing Finance Bank with 30 years of experience in accounting and business management.

Actively participated in a myriad of community service initiatives through his professional work, membership of various civil society organisations, membership of Lions Club International, and Lay Canon in the Church of Uganda.

Holds a Bachelors Degree in Civil and Building Engineering, Ordinary Dip in Building and Civil Engineering, and Post Graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management and has attended several courses.

Founding Director of Sarik Construction Ltd with over 25 years’ experience in the construction Industry across the East African region. Also the Director of Wombo Food House, Samba Engineering Ltd, and Bukarango TV Network Ltd and country representative of Samcrete Egypt Engineers and Contractors.

Holds many Community and Church responsibilities.

Holds a Master’s Degree in Management -Uganda Management Institute (UMI), an Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Economics) Makerere University, a Diploma in Microfinance-Uganda Institute of Banking and Financial Services (UIBFS), Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource -UMI

Passionate and dynamic co-operator with over 20 years’ experience in Co-operative Management and Leadership. She is a Certified Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE), an Advanced African Development Educator (AADE), and a Champion of the Co-operative movement in Uganda and beyond.

Chief Executive Officer, SteadFin Uganda SACCO Ltd: 2022-todate and Founding General Manager- Franciscan Investment Co-operative (FIC) Society Ltd. Also Chair, African Women in Cooperatives Network- (AWCN) and Mentor Uganda Women in Co-operatives Network.

She is a Rotarian.
